3 Valentine's Day Gifts He'll Love

We will suggest to you 3 types of gifts, you can give your boyfriend on valentine´s day, inexpensive gifts, creative and very orginal! ...

A Panty
If your guy has a thing for sexy underwear (and really, what guy doesn't?), send him a message that's way more memorable than a drugstore greeting card — a Panty Gram. He'll receive a lacy red thong with a flirty, personalized message from "his secret admirer" that directs him to the Panty.

Sexy Bands
You've probably seen Silly Bandz, well, everywhere. But your guy can be the first to rock Sexy Bands. Slip him a pack of six, which contain six sex position outlines. They look like normal bracelets when he wears them, so the real meaning behind his new accessories will be your little secret.

The Naughty To-Do List
Men aren't known for being the greatest communicators, but with these racy notepad, he won't have to do anything more than check off a box to let you know what he wants. With some serious, some hilarious wants for him to check off (we're big fans of "drop your drawers"), your guy will be more than satisfied.

HISTORY OF VALENTINE'S DAY

Every year, the fourteenth day of the month of February has millions across the world presenting their loved ones with candy, flowers, chocolates and other lovely gifts. In many countries, restaurants and eateries are seen to be filled with couples who are eager to celebrate their relationship and the joy of their togetherness through delicious cuisines. There hardly seems to be a young man or woman who is not keen to make the most of the day.

The modern St. Valentine's Day celebrations are said to have been derived from both ancient Christian and Roman tradition. As per one legend, the holiday has originated from the ancient Roman festival of Lupercalis/Lupercalia, a fertility celebration that used to observed annually on February 15. But the rise of Christianity in Europe saw many pagan holidays being renamed for and dedicated to the early Christian martyrs. Lupercalia was no exception. In 496 AD, Pope Gelasius turned Lupercalia into a Christian feast day and set its observance a day earlier, on February 14. He proclaimed February 14 to be the feast day in honor of Saint Valentine, a Roman martyr who lived in the 3rd century. It is this St. Valentine whom the modern Valentine's Day honors.

According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, there were at least three early Christian saints by the name of Valentine. While one was a priest in Rome, another was a bishop in Terni. Nothing is known about the third St. Valentine except that he met his end in Africa. Surprisingly, all three of them were said to have been martyred on 14th February.

Valentine's day greeting cardBy the Middle Ages, Valentine became as popular as to become one of the most popular saints in England and France. Despite attempts by the Christian church to sanctify the holiday, the association of Valentine’s Day with romance and courtship continued through the Middle Ages. The holiday evolved over the centuries. By the 18th century, gift-giving and exchanging hand-made cards on Valentine's Day had become common in England. Hand-made valentine cards made of lace, ribbons, and featuring cupids and hearts began to be created on this day and handed over to the man or woman one loved.
This tradition eventually spread to the American colonies. It was not until the 1840s that Valentine's Day greeting cards began to be commercially produced in the U.S. The first American Valentine's Day greeting cards were created by Esther A. Howlanda Mount Holyoke, a graduate and native of Worcester. Mass. Howland, known as the Mother of the Valentine, made elaborate creations with real lace, ribbons and colorful pictures known as "scrap". It was when Howland began Valentine's cards in a large scale that the tradition really caught on in the United States.

No matters what is the reason to celebrate Valentine's Day, it is second among the largest card-sending holidays celebrated across the world today.

VALENTINE´S DAY IDEAS

Celebrating love is a great idea for a holiday, but I'm not convinced that packed restaurants and overpriced meals are the right way to do it. Try a few of these ideas that can provide all of the romance and memories without the hassles:

Romantic Getaway

Spend the night away from home at a nice hotel in the city or a quaint cottage with a fireplace in the country. Bring candles, massage oil, some interesting bedroom wear, and stay in for the night. Order room service and spend the entire evening relaxing in the jacuzzi, talking, dancing, playing games, and just being

together in your robes.

Couple's Massage
Get pampered by scheduling a few therapists to come over for a surprise treat or take your date to a day spa for a couple's massage, champagne, and relaxing.

Romantic Theme Night
This is like our normal theme date but it's up to you to give the night a romantic twist. The idea is to have fun transforming your place into a fantasy setting for the night. Maybe you surprise her with dinner in Paris complete with a cardboard Eiffel Tower, French music, berets, and a great French meal followed by a foreign film (a French maid's outfit might be fun too). Or you could go crazy with it and treat him to something like a Heaven and Hell theme where one room is decorated with lots of white balloons and sheets with harps playing, while another (the bedroom) has a red lights and...well, you know. Use your imagination!

Picnic in the Country
Celebrate the day by taking a scenic drive to the country and enjoying a picnic at a romantic lake, meadow, or beach. Put together a mix of your favorite sappy love songs for the drive out and pack a meal using some of our picnic ideas. When you're finished soaking up the view, head home for dessert, wine, and a candlelit bath.
